The head of the US Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, has defended President Donald Trump's decision to pull his country out of the Paris climate change deal.
President Trump announced on Thursday last week that the US will withdraw from the Paris accord, triggering widespread condemnation from environmental groups and world leaders.
