Syria's Assad says chemical attack allegations a complete fabrication

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad insists there is no evidence of a chemical weapons or sarin gas attack in  Khan Sheikhoun, Idlib province.

Following on work done by the Turkish medical authorities, at the Hague, British scientists workwing the U.N.s' Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons confirmed they have also found evidence of sarin.

In an interview with Agence-France-Presse, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said it's all lies:

US considering range of options to curb North Korean nuclear and military programs

The United States is believed to be considering a raft of options in a
bid to halt North Korea's military and nuclear programs.

A U.S. naval force has been sent towards the Korean peninsula and
Pyongyang warns that any American aggression will be met with a
nuclear attack.

U.N: Cyprus talks 'at crossroads'

The United Nations envoy to Cyprus has said talks between Greek and Turkish Cypriots have reached a critical stage.

Cyprus has been split along ethnic lines for decades, but the UN says there are only a small number of issues still to be resolved in negotiations to end the division of the island.

UK Catholic Priest Jailed



A British Catholic Priest has been found guilty of sexually abusing teenage boys at a boarding school.


The allegations date back to the late 1970s, and Father Michael Higginbottom was sentenced to 17 years in prison.

Russia owes €2,9mln compensation to Beslan school siege victims - ECHR

The European Court of Human Rights ruled Russian authorities failed to prevent the 2004 Beslan school siege in which more than 300 people died. Dortmund manager: Match played too soon after attack

Borussia Dortmund's manager said football officials shouldn't have scheduled his team's Champion's League match so soon after his team's bus was attacked in what German police believe was an act of terror.

The match was rescheduled for less than twenty four hours later and Dortmund was defeated by Monaco three to two.

India mulls prisoner swap to free national from Pakistan jail

India has stepped up efforts to secure the release of Kulbhushan Jadhav- an Indian national sentenced to death by Pakistan on charges of spying.

India could also raise this issue with the United States National Security Advisor H R McMaster when he visits India next week.

United Passenger Takes Legal Action Over Forceful Removal

Lawyers for the passenger forcibly removed from a United Airlines
plane in Chicago filed an emergency request in state court Wednesday,
requiring the airline to preserve videos and other evidence related to
the incident. A cell phone video of Dr. David Dao being dragged off
the flight, bleeding, went viral and sparked international outrage.

Russia veto UN resolution on Syria

Russia has vetoed a United Nations Security Council resolution that
sought to condemn a suspected chemical attack in Syria last week that
killed nearly 90 people.

The British Ambassador to the UN told the council that it's highly
likely that the Syrian government was behind the attack but Moscow
refute those claims.

US First Lady Melania Trump wins damages against Daily Mail after 'escort' article

U.S, woman confesses to mall shooting plot

A woman from the United States has confessed that she planned to carry
out a mass shooting in a Canadian shopping center.

Productive talks, relationship low - Tillerson

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said his talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov were productive, but admitted the relationship is at a low point.

Russia calls for independent Syria investigation

Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov concedes that chemical weapons were used on April 4 in Syria, but he's calling for an independent investigation into the attacks.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin had suggested the attacks were fake and intended to discredit the regime of Bashar al-Assad.

Now, his foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov is moderating that claim.
