UN Ambassador Says Trump Allows Her To 'Beat Up' Russia

Donald Trump's ambassador to the United Nations has said she is on the same page as the US President when it comes to Russia.

Nikki Haley was speaking as the US assumes the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council this month.

Speaking to both ABC and CBS News, she said she doesn't trust Russian leader Vladimir Putin, and Mr. Trump's has never asked her to go soft on Moscow.

Egyptian President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi Visits White House

Egypt's President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi is visiting the White House this Monday, the first Egyptian leader to do so since the country's revolution in 2011.

He's be holding talks with Donald Trump, whom he already met last year on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, before the US Presidential election.

Senior UK Conservative Talks Up Brexit Conflict Over Gilbraltar

A former leader of Britain's ruling Conservative party has been criticised after he implied that Prime Minister Theresa May would be willing to go to war with Spain to protect the interests of Gibraltar, a British overseas territory in the south of Spain.

The comments of Michael Howard, who now sits in the House of Lords, have been described as "sabre-rattling" by political opponents, while the Prime Minister's office says she remains steadfastly committed to Gibraltar.

Trump: US 'Will Act Unilaterally' on North Korea if Necessary

President Donald Trump has issued an ultimatum to Beijing - deal with North Korea, or Washington will take unilateral action.

Speaking to the Financial Times newspaper, he said if Beijing is not going to solve the North Korean crisis, the US would do so, but wasn't forthcoming on what such action might look like and whether it would involve a military option.

The warning comes just days before President Trump meets Chinese President Xi Trump, for their first face to face meeting on Thursday in Florida.

Trump targets trade abuses with executive orders

President Donald Trump has signed two executive orders aimed at cracking down on trade abuses and reducing the US trade deficit.

The orders were signed a week before Chinese President Xi Jinping visits the US, but White House officials said the measures were not an attempt to send a message to China.

Mike Flynn should testify

The White House says Michael Flynn, the former National Security Adviser who was pushed out over his questionable contacts with foreign governments, should testify on what he knows.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted that Mike Flynn should be granted immunity.

UN Secretary General Calls for More Aid For Mosul Refugees
