First Family on Working Vacation to National Parks

US President Barack Obama and his family are visiting two US national parks this Father’s Day weekend. 

The first family joins a record number of people visiting the national parks, as the national park service celebrates its 100th birthday this summer.

Wall Street gets Brexit jitters

UK PARLIAMENT TO PAY TRIBUTE TO JO COX

Britain's Parliament is being recalled on Monday so tributes can be paid to Jo Cox MP who was murdered in her constituency on Thursday.

A 52 year-old man has been charged with her murder and he will appear in court again on Monday.

Jo Cox's death came exactly a week before Britons head to the polls in a referendum on the country's European Union membership.

MAN CHARGED WITH KILLING UK MP APPEARS IN COURT

The man charged with killing British MP Jo Cox has identified himself in court as 'Death to Traitors, Freedom for Britain'.

52 year-old Thomas Mair has been charged with murder as well as grievous bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon.

He's been remanded in custody.

Jo Cox was shot and stabbed in her own constituency on Thursday.

US Navy Lifts Drinking Ban On American Sailors in Japan

The U.S. Navy lifted a temporary drinking ban on its more than 18000
sailors stationed in Japan on Friday after a senior officer said
personnel had time to reflect on how alcohol-fueled bad behavior can
hurt their relationship with their neighbors. The ban was imposed
after a number of controversial incidents involving US sailors and
Japanese civilians.

Putin: IAAF Ban on Russia Is Unfair

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that a decision by the athletics world governing body to continue the ban on Russia competing internationally, because of allegations of doping, is unfair.

Speaking to reporters in St. Petersburg, Mr. Putin criticised the decision to stop all the athletes from competing, rather than certain individuals.

Russia 'extremely disappointed' over IAAF's ban

Russian Sports Ministry said in a statement it's 'extremely disappointed' about the International Association of Athletics Federations' decision to ban Russian track and field athletes from Rio Olympics.

IAAF bans Russian athletics team from Rio Olympics

US and Russia Spar Over Syria

The US has accused Russia of carrying out airstrikes in southern Syria against American-backed rebel forces, saying they'll raise the matter with Moscow.
