UN: Islamic State carrying out 'an ongoing genocide' on Yazidi minority

INTRO:

The United Nations human rights commission believes the Islamic State
is aiming to completely eliminate the Yazidi population on the
Iraqi-Syrian border.

The Yazidis have a culture spanning thousands of years but the
ethnic-religious minority are considered to be infidels to I-S.
