Muslims and politicians in Australia say "if you don't like it, leave"

Australia's political leaders have joined the head of the Parramatta mosque in Sydney's western suburbs to tell anyone who doesn't like the Australian way of life to leave the country.

Bavaria plans ‘emergency measures’ to deal with refugees

MOSCOW DENIES MISSILES LANDED IN IRAN

Moscow is denying that cruise missiles it fired at Syria from the Caspian Sea landed in Iran, as claimed by US officials.

The Russian military says all 26 missiles it fired at targets in Syria on Wednesday hit their targets.

Members of the NATO military alliance have criticised Russia for attacking opposition groups in Syria in support of President Bashar al Assad.

Moscow insists it is targeting the Islamic State.

Russia denies its missiles missed targets in Syria

Russia denied reports its rockets have missed targets and hit the territory of Iran. American TV channel CNN reported on Wednesday citing anonymous sources that four Russian missiles launched on Tuesday have not reached Syrian ground. CAMERON, MERKEL TO DISCUSS EU REFORM

Britain's plans for reform of the European Union will be discussed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and UK Prime Minister David Cameron later.

The two are due to meet at the Prime Minister's country residence Chequers with Chancellor Merkel expected to seek clarification of what changes Mr Cameron wants to the UK's relationship with the EU.

He has promised to secure reforms and then hold an in-out referendum on EU membership by 2017.

Four Russian missiles aimed at Syria have hit Iran, US officials say

Russian missiles aimed at Syria have hit Iran, senior United States officials told reporters on Thursday.

Speaking on condition of anonymity the officials said the exact location and extent of damage has yet to be confirmed.

Train hero stabbed

NATO BOOSTS RESPONSE FORCES AMID SYRIA CRISIS

NATO defense ministers meeting amid concern over Russian military action in Syria have decided to increase response forces to speed up potential troop deployments.

And the military alliance has renewed a pledge to defend its allies over what it calls an 'escalation' of Russian military activity in Syria.

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg has called on Moscow to stop backing Syria's President Bashar al Assad militarily, although Russia insists it is targeting the Islamic State in the country.

Britain expected to announce long-term deployment to Baltic States
