CAMERON, MERKEL TO DISCUSS EU REFORM

Britain's plans for reform of the European Union will be discussed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and UK Prime Minister David Cameron later.

The two are due to meet at the Prime Minister's country residence Chequers with Chancellor Merkel expected to seek clarification of what changes Mr Cameron wants to the UK's relationship with the EU.

He has promised to secure reforms and then hold an in-out referendum on EU membership by 2017.
