Scotland's campaign to leave the UK edges ahead for the first time

Financial markets have reacted badly to a poll which, for the first time, put the campaign for Scotland to leave the United Kingdom slightly ahead of the 'Better Together' campaign.

The pound fell to a ten month low against the dollar and shares in the Royal Bank of Scotland, Standard Life and Lloyds Banking Group, all based in Scotland, fell by more than 2%.

Keith Cochrane from Engineering company "The Weir Group' says he supports Scotland but doesn't want it to leave Britain.
