Wall Street's three main indexes have risen on Wednesday, snapping a three-day losing streak, even as the benchmark ten-year US Treasury yield hit its highest level since November 2023.
Traders are now pricing in roughly a two-in-three chance of a rate increase by the Federal Reserve in September, after hawkish comments from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh about controlling price pressures.
Brent crude has also climbed above ninety-five dollars a barrel, reviving concerns that higher energy costs could fuel persistent inflation.
