The United States military has launched a fresh wave of airstrikes on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz, with Iranian media reporting explosions at multiple coastal and port sites.
US President Donald Trump said the strikes were in response to Iranian missile attacks on a US base in Jordan and an attempt to lay sea mines in the strait.
Iran's Revolutionary Guard has warned the United States will regret the attacks and has vowed to stop exercising restraint.
