The United States has launched a fresh wave of strikes against Iran's Revolutionary Guard, targeting air defence sites, radar systems and maritime assets near the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran has struck back, with its Revolutionary Guard saying it targeted American forces in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates — though authorities in both countries say all the Iranian weapons were intercepted or fell without causing damage.
US President Donald Trump has warned Tehran that any further retaliation will be met with force at what he called a much harder and higher level.
