US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have visited the Ukrainian capital Kyiv for the first time since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, holding talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European security advisers.
The visit on Sunday followed more than three hours of talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Saturday, but no diplomatic breakthrough has been announced.
President Zelenskyy said he expects the war to continue, while the US delegation says it is working on a refreshed peace proposal.
