Two paintings by the French impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir are still missing after thieves raided a museum dedicated to his work on the French Riviera early on Tuesday.
The robbers cut through fencing at the Musée Renoir in Cagnes-sur-Mer, near Nice, and made off with four works — though they dropped two in the garden as they fled.
The heist comes less than a year after jewels worth around a hundred million dollars were stolen from the Louvre in Paris.
