US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have arrived in Moscow for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, carrying what US President Donald Trump has called a plan to end the war in Ukraine.
The Kremlin has ordered a three-day halt to strikes on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv to allow the American delegation to travel there for negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Dasha Chernyshova reports from Moscow, where she says Russian officials are publicly tempering expectations for what the meetings might achieve.
