Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a three-day halt to attacks on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, as US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner held five hours of talks with him in Moscow on efforts to end the war.
The Kremlin says the suspension of strikes applies only to Kyiv and is linked to preparations for the envoys' onward travel to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The visit marks the first time the two US representatives have travelled to Kyiv since President Trump returned to office, though expectations in Washington remain low.
