A wave of Houthi missile and drone attacks has struck southern Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, wounding more than 70 people and setting fire to energy facilities in at least four cities.
The Saudi-led coalition says it will respond with what it calls the utmost resolve, after the Iran-backed rebels said the strikes were in retaliation for more than a hundred coalition airstrikes on Yemen.
The escalation comes after a coalition airstrike hit the runway at Sanaa airport to prevent a flight from Tehran from landing, challenging a decade-long blockade.
