US WARNS ISRAEL NOT TO BLOCK TRUMP'S HAMAS DISARMAMENT PLAN AS KEY DISPUTES REMAIN

A US official has warned that President Donald Trump will be "very disappointed" if Israel blocks advancement of his Gaza disarmament plan — a day after Hamas and other Palestinian factions agreed to a document setting out a roadmap for laying down their weapons.

The 15-point agreement, mediated by Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, was hailed by President Trump as historic — but an Israeli official said the terms do not satisfy Israel's demands, with the key dispute centring on whether Israeli forces withdraw before or after Hamas disarms.
