Negotiations between Washington and Tehran have stalled at a Swiss mountain resort after US President Donald Trump threatened to seize the Strait of Hormuz and resume military strikes on Iran.
Iran's chief negotiator, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has dismissed the threats, saying Tehran's armed forces are ready to respond.
Tehran says the fighting in Lebanon between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah must end before any broader agreement can be reached.
