LABOUR ALLY EXPECTS STARMER TO STEP DOWN TO SPARE BRITAIN FURTHER CHAOS

British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is reported to be weighing whether to resign within days, with more than a hundred Labour lawmakers publicly calling on him to quit or set out a timetable for his departure.

The pressure has intensified since Andy Burnham's decisive by-election victory on Thursday, with senior Labour figures including Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper reportedly urging the prime minister to step aside.

A government source says Sir Keir remains focused on governing, but reports suggest he could make a statement on his future as early as Monday.

Kevin Craig, founder of the public relations agency PLMR and a former Labour parliamentary candidate, says he believes the prime minister will put the country first.
