India's defence minister is set to inaugurate an international naval exercise that brings together some 50 countries including the US, Russia, and Iran, amid geopolitical tensions.
The event which runs until 27th February is aimed at boosting maritime cooperation, and comes as analysts say that India's strategic importance in the Indo-Pacific region is growing.
