A day after the Indian Supreme Court set aside a local election result that saw Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party win, opposition leaders have welcomed the ruling.
They say democracy has been saved.
The court declared an opposition candidate as the winner, in an unusual hearing where votes were counted in front of the judges.
