Top UN officials warn of an “apocalyptic” situation in Gaza

The World Health Organisation says the situation for Gaza is "getting
worse by the hour".
According to the UN's aid coordination office between December 3 and
the afternoon of 4 December at least 349 Palestinians were killed and
750 injured.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday appealed to the IDF to
spare civilians from more suffering especially since the fighting has
now moved south.
