UK SIGNS NEW MIGRATION TREATY WITH RWANDA

The UK has signed a new treaty with Rwanda to send some asylum seekers to the country to pursue their claims there.

A previous version of the plan was ruled unlawful by the UK's Supreme Court.

The opposition Labour Party says it's an expensive 'gimmick' but the government says it will help tackle illegal immigration to Britain.

UK Home Secretary James Cleverly signed the new treaty in Kigali with praise for Rwanda's commitments.
