Charges dropped against 17 Austin police officers over tactics used in 2020 George Floyd protests

A Texas prosecutor has dropped charges against 17 Austin police officers who allegedly used excessive force during racial justice protests in 2020 - following the murder of George Floyd. Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza is asking the Department of Justice of investigation instead. At least two people - including a teenager - were critically injured during the protests - after police fired bean bag rounds into the crowd. Toni Waterman has more.
