Russia's share of European Union trade has continued to fall as the bloc reduces its reliance on Russian energy imports. The latest figures, driven primarily by Europe's desire to limit Russia's ability to finance its invasion of Ukraine, also show the EU's trade deficit with Russia is hovering around record lows.
