Nigeria's President and Chairperson of the Economic Community of West African States, or ECOWAS, Bola Tinubu says sanctions imposed on Niger Republic won't be lifted until a military junta in the country heeds their call.
They are demanding the country's return to democratic rule, and President Mohammed Bazoum's release after his government was toppled by the junta in July.
