TRANSPORT MINISTER ADMITS QUARANTINE RULES FOR UK ARRIVALS "CONFUSING"

UK Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps, admits the quarantine rules for people entering the UK from abroad have become "confusing".

The four nations of the UK - England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland make their own judgement on the risk of contracting coronavirus abroad.

Now some countries deemed high-risk by one nation are not deemed high-risk by another, meaning returning travellers may have to quarantine if returning to Scotland but not if returning to England.
