UK GOVT UNDER FIRE OVER INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

The UK government is admitting quarantine rules for international arrivals have become 'confusing' with England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland imposing different restrictions.

England and Northern Ireland are still allowing quarantine-free arrival from Portugal, while Scotland and Wales are requiring isolation.

Travel bosses are also criticising the government for not bringing in testing on arrival at ports and airports.

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps says it's being looked at, but isn't considered a silver bullet.
