American faces trial in Venezuela on espionage & weapons charges

Joshua Holt is scheduled to go to trial September 15 on espionage and weapons charges in Venezuela.

His family in Utah is concerned the Obama administration is moving too slowly and has enlisted Congresswoman Mia Love to pressure the White House to do more.

With tensions mounting ahead of a major planned protest march in Caracas, the government has been cracking down, deporting three journalists from Al-Jazeera.

U.S. State Department spokesman John Kirby says they are working on helping Joshua Holt.
