California Lawmakers Pass Mandatory Prison Bill for Certain Sexual Assault Cases

Legislators in California have passed a bill that would ban probation under certain conditions for people convicted of sexual assault. 
The legislation was passed in response to the backlash over  a high-profile case at Stanford University earlier this year.
