Police are searching an area of woodland in northern France as they hunt for the suspects in the Charlie Hebdo magazine killings.
The two suspects reportedly earlier robbed a petrol station in the region but officials then warned they may be headed back to Paris.
12 were killed in an attack on the satirical magazine in Paris.
Earlier another attack in the south of the city left a policewoman dead.
