Fed Minutes: Rate Rise Before April Unlikely

Minutes from the U.S. Federal Reserve's December meeting reveal that
officials do not plan to raise interest rates before April. The
benchmark rate has been at 0% since late 2008, when the Fed slashed
rates to give the domestic economy a boost in the wake of the
financial crisis.
