Chirac died Thursday at the age of 86.

Jeremy Corbyn condemns Boris Johnson's "reprehensible" language

The UK's Leader of the Opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, says Boris Johnson's language in the House of Commons was "nothing short of disgraceful." The Labour leader argues that "the language politicians use matters and have real consequences." 


This comes after the UK Prime Minister dismissed the concerns of one MP facing death threats who made reference to the murder of Jo Cox, the MP killed days before the EU referendum.

BRITISH AIRWAYS ANNOUNCES $150M LOSSES FROM PILOT STRIKE

The owner of British Airways, IAG, says September's pilot strike cost the company £121 million pounds, or nearly $150 million US dollars.

Russian military experts land in Venezuela as Maduro meets Putin

A group of Russian military experts has arrived in Venezuela as talks were in Moscow between President Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela and the Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

The atmosphere between the two leaders was more than friendly as Mr Maduro presented Mr Putin with a sword as a gift.

Trump and Zelenksy joke after phone call transcript released

The US president and his Ukrainian counterpart joked at a news conference on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The meeting came after the publication of the transcript of a phone call between the two leaders when they discussed a possible investigation of the former US vice-president, Joe Biden.
