The US-mediated Russia-Ukraine talks have been put on pause, the Kremlin said. Bilateral talks between Moscow and Washington, however, continue. As the focus of the White House appears to have shifted to the Middle East in recent weeks, fears are rising the situation around Iran may distract it from Kiev's urgent needs for Western arms supplies. UK Works To Contain Deadly Meningitis Outbreak


The UK is working to contain a deadly meningitis outbreak that has killed two people in the South of England. 


An urgent public health alert has been issued, following the outbreak in Kent, which is thought to have originated in a nightclub in the city of Canterbury, and has led to the deaths of two students.

Asian stocks slip as oil jumps past $110

Pakistan rejects Afghan allegations of striking a treatment center
