Vance says gas price rise temporary as White House fights energy cost spike and Iran threatens retaliation on energy infrastructure

The White House has temporarily rolled back a law that prohibits foreign vessels from shipping oil and gas between U.S. ports as the ongoing war with Iran has spiked energy prices across the country.

US Vice President J.D. Vance says the rise in oil prices is temporary even as Israel and Iran threaten more attacks on petroleum facilities, jolting markets and increasing gas costs for American drivers.
