NATO powers meet amid drone threats

Next steps for Gaza unclear after hostage and prisoner release

Joy in Israel as hostages return but many bodies still missing

The families of the last 20 living hostages held by Hamas in Gaza have been sharing joy and relief at their return to Israel after two years in captivity.
But Israel says only four of the dead hostages have been returned after Hamas said it does not know the location of some of the other 24.

Trump declares Gaza war over at summit with world leaders in Egypt

US President Donald Trump has declared that the war in Gaza is over, as 20 hostages in Gaza were returned to Israel in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees.


He was speaking at a summit in Egypt where he signed a document, with the leaders of Turkey, Egypt and Qatar, who brokered the deal alongside the US. But the contents of the document were not immediately clear, and it was not signed by Israel or Hamas, neither of which had representatives at the meeting.
