The United Nations International Monetary Fund has revised its forecast for the UK economy, predicting growth will be a little higher this year than expected, but a little less next year.
It predicts both years will see higher inflation than European peers, mostly due to Britain's higher household energy bills and this year's change to national insurance payments.
