U.S. President's special envoy Steve Witkoff is in Moscow for talks on Ukraine ceasefire with Russian officials. The visit comes on the eve of the August 8 deadline set by President Trump for Moscow to agree to end the Ukraine war or face new sanctions. Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.

4 killed, several missing in Indian flash floods

Search operations are underway in northern India where a cloudburst triggered flash floods, trapping dozens of people.

Witkoff expected in Moscow on Wednesday as Trump & Zelensky talk

U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to visit Moscow on Wednesday, according to Russia's state news agency.

Meanwhile Ukrainian officials say the American president spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday. 

Mr Trump has set a deadline of Friday for Russia to agree to end the Ukraine war or face new sanctions.

Titan submersible tragedy “preventable"

EU shelves US tariff countermeasures

UK-FRANCE MIGRANT DEAL BEGINS
