French PM eschews summer vacation, says budget crisis too serious

The French prime minister says he will not be taking a traditional vacation this summer, as he battles to try to shore up support for his controversial cost-saving budget.

Opposition parties warn that there could be a vote of no-confidence in François Bayrou (Ba-ee-roo) this autumn if he fails to make major concessions.
