US: CONSUMER SENTIMENT PLUMMETS IN NEW SURVEY

Consumer confidence in the United States has fallen to its lowest level since July 2022, amid stock market volatility and the President's implementation of tariffs on America's trading partners.

This comes ahead of President Trump imposing more sweeping levies, which he has called "reciprocal tariffs," set to take effect in early April.

Trump & Putin eye call after envoy Moscow meeting

Report: U.S. and Israeli officials spoke to East African countries about resettling Gazans


U.S. and Israeli officials reportedly held talks with countries in East Africa over taking in resettled Palestinians from Gaza.

According to the Associated Press, contact was made soon after U.S. President Donald Trump floated his controversial plan to "take over" the Gaza strip.

FRANCE'S ALCOHOLIC DRINKS INDUSTRY DISTRAUGHT AT PROSPECT OF 200% U.S. TARIFF

Democrats consider whether to vote in favour of stop-gap funding or risk government shutdown
