Biden says Trump is an insurrectionist, but courts must decide legality of his Presidential bid

US President Joe Biden says there is "no question" that former President Donald Trump is an insurrectionist, but he said he will leave the future of the Republican front-runner's presidential campaign in the hands of the country's courts.

Donald Trump says he is asking the US Supreme Court to overturn Tuesday's ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court that ruled him ineligible to campaign for the Presidency under the "insurrection clause" of the 14th amendment to the American Constitution.

President Biden, stepping off Air Force One in Wisconsin, gave his first reaction to the ruling to reporters.
