California Governor Gavin Newsom says he will sign a new bill mandating businesses to publish their greenhouse gas emissions.

Five American citizens held captive for years in Iran are flying back to the United States as part of a prisoner swap.
The four men and one woman, who also hold Iranian passports, took off from Iran's capital Tehran on Monday, en route to Washington via Doha.
The deal was mediated by Qatar, and follows the transfer of $6 billion in Iranian oil revenue funds frozen in South Korea.

China's top diplomat Wang Yi is in Russia for security talks, after a 2-day meeting with the U.S. national security adviser.
The Chinese side described Wang Yi's Russia visit as a "routine one" to hold "in-depth talks on major strategic security interests".

More women have come forward with claims about comedian and actor Russel Brand.
The Times Newspaper, which first reported the story, says it's working to verify new allegations.
Mr Brand has denied claims of rape and sexual assault, and says any relationships have always been consensual.
A number of investigations have been launched by TV Production companies and broadcasters who used to have ties to the comedian.
The initial allegations date from 2006 - 2013 when he was at the height of his fame.

Apple supplier Foxconn is aiming to double its investment and number of jobs in India over the next year, according to a top company executive.
