Typhoon Khanun takes last swing at west Japan

The Japan Meteorological Agency is calling for strict vigilance as typhoon Khanun continues to hit the country’s western regions. 

The storm approached the large island of Kyushuu on Wednesday bringing more torrential rain and severe winds.

Second Son of Thai King Makes Surprise Return

Tory Lanez Sentenced to 10 Years for Shooting Fellow Rapper Megan Thee Stallion

Canadian rapper Tory Lanez has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee [THE] Stallion in the feet during an argument .

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was convicted last year on three felony counts related to the 2020 shooting.

Legislators visit U.S. Mexico border condemning 'drowning devices' put in river

Texas legislators visited the U.S. Mexico border region of Eagle Pass on Tuesday, to speak out against the state's Lone Star policy, that includes a barrier put in the middle of the Rio Grande river to block migrants.

People trying to cross over have died in the waterway including one person whose body was found caught in the barrier last week.

Electricity prices increase 800% in Texas as heatwaves pushes up demand

Three dead in California helicopter crash

Three people have died in the US state of California after firefighting helicopters collided.
