Asylum seekers who refuse to board a barge in southern England could have their support from the UK government cancelled.
Around 15 people have spent a first night on the Bibby Stockholm - but around 20 people refused to take up the accomodation which is designed to save taxpayer money being spent on hotels.
The Home Office says asylum seekers are being offered spots on the floating vessel on a "no-choice basis".
Border Management and Immigration expert - Sara Pownall - says the controversial scheme is an unworkable response to a backlog in asylum claims.
