DOJ Sues Texas Over Floating Barrier On Border
The US Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against Texas governor Greg Abbott over the massive barrier of floating buoys the state has placed in the Rio Grande [GRAND] river to try and prevent migrants from crossing over the border from Mexico.
Abbot has said he will not comply with the order to remove the buoys, which cover an area of around a thousand feet, or 300 meters.

Evacuations Continue From Greek Islands
Evacuations are continuing as tourists and locals try and escape wildfires on some Greek islands.
It's believed almost 20 thousand people have been evacuated from Rhodes and a further two and half thousand from Corfu.
The majority of those who have had to flee are tourists, and there's been criticism that travel firms haven't been doing enough to help people or keep them informed of the latest developments.
Despite the evacuations, local officials are urging tourists not to cancel their trips.
Thousands of those affected are British tourists and some airlines are continuing to take holidaymakers to Rhodes. UK Foreign Office minister Andrew Mitchell has said that's a decision for the firms involved:
