Expect more hot days in the U.S

The US National Weather Service has issued heat alerts for some 45
million Americans across more than a dozen states.
Temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 110 degrees fahrenheit
(43 degrees celsius) in cities like Palm Springs, Phoenix and Las
Vegas.
