India to to push back over 700 refugees from Myanmar

India's state of Manipur has ordered an immediate pushback of over 700 Myanmar nationals, who came into the country earlier this week.

The government says the foreigners have illegally entered the state without proper travel documents.

Since the military coup in Myanmar, hundreds of refugees have fled into India. The two countries share a mostly porous border in India's north east region.
