A ceasefire has been agreed in Sudan providing a 24-hour window for humanitarian aid. A power struggle between the army and a paramilitary group has left at least 185 people dead across the country in the past four days. Singapore tanker recovered off Gulf of Guinea, crew safe

UK energy firms banned from forcibly installing energy meters for the over-85s’
