New House committee Report reveals Donald Trump tax data

A US Democratic house committee has released a report that shows Donald Trump's finances yo-yoed dramatically throughout his term as president.

The report also says that the IRS failed to regularly audit the former president's taxes whilst he was in office.

AMBULANCE WORKERS ON STRIKE IN THE UK

UN rights chief calls Taliban move to ban Afghan women from university “appalling”

The United Nations High Commissioner for human rights says the reported decision banning women in Afghanistan from attending university is "an appalling and cruel blow."

Taliban bans university education for girls and women

The Taliban says it is closing universities to Afghan girls and women, in another major setback to their rights.

China narrows its definition of a Covid-19 death

China is narrowing its classification of whether deaths in the country are recorded as being due to Covid-19. Health officials say that reflects the mild nature of the Omicron variant. Zelensky to visit Washington on Wednesday
