Nigeria Police Chief Sentenced to Three Months in Jail

A high court in Nigeria has sentenced the country's police chief to three months in prison for disobeying a court order.


The ruling followed a lawsuit by a police officer who was dismissed in 1992, a few years after the Inspector of police joined the force.

Jurors chosen in landmark Brussels terror attacks trial

By the end of Wednesday, thirty-six people will be chosen as jurors for the largest ever trial of its kind in Belgium. 


The landmark case concerns nine defendants suspected of carrying out terror attacks in March 2016, which claimed 32 lives and injured hundreds more in the Belgian capital.
